There are two wolves inside you…

This project, called The Wolf Suite, has been designed to help novices of breathing and visualisation techniques as well as those already familiar with it. 

Comprising of two old fashioned CDs, it has 11 tracks to take you through a full guided meditation and visualisation to help you relax the body, breathe regularly, and calm the mind. Each different levels of guidance to suit your style and experience.

The first CD comprises of spoken word tracks that guide the listener through a narration of an old story called The Parable of the Two Wolves, then talks you through importance of diaphragmatic breathing and some breathing techniques. For this exercise, you can utilise the artwork that comes with the CD as a guided visualization, but it works as a guided exercise without the artwork as well. The five tracks one the first CD are designed to be played in sequence, but can be used individually or out of sequence for your needs at hand.

This excerpt is from “The Wolf Suite” track 3 “Introduction to Diaphragmatic Breathing”. In this track, David walks you through some of the basic science and biomechanics of the breath and its effects on the body.

The music that underscores the exercise narration (Track #5 “The Exercise”) is available as a separate track without the narration (Track #6 Instrumental (Exercise music without guide). The listener is gently encouraged to memorise the steps of the breathing exercise presented in the narrated track, and then repeat those steps using the track listening to the instrumental version. It’s also perfect for developing your own version of the exercise, helping to grow in your meditative journey. 

The second CD is a compilation of all the music, written and performed by David, without the narration. These five tracks are designed to be relaxing, and provides a  gentle background to listen to while you meditate, or simply go about your day.

 

David has made diaphragmatic breathing and empowerment for change effortless through this simple yet powerful instructional CD. The music is a wonderful meditation tool - I had the best meditation of my life after the first CD. Thanks to David for this gift.
